FAQ – BIOGEL AP2
BIOGEL AP2 is formulated with biodegradable native esters and shows over 60% biodegradability according to OECD 301B, making it suitable for environmentally sensitive applications.
It is not recommended for components that are rarely serviced, such as wheel bearings. Under high-temperature conditions, the relubrication interval should be shortened.
- Anti-corrosive
- Water-resistant
- High adhesion
- Excellent worked stability
Service temperature range: –20 °C to 80 °C.
Short-term temperature peak: 110 °C.
It can be applied manually or using a standard grease gun. For first-time use, ensure compatibility with the previously used grease. Bearings should be cleaned or purged if required. Avoid over-lubrication for best performance.
The minimum storage period is approximately 36 months in unopened original packaging when stored between 5 °C and 40 °C. After this period, a visual inspection is recommended. Protect the product from frost, heat, and direct sunlight.
Avoid prolonged or repeated contact of used grease with skin. Wash thoroughly in case of contact. Used lubricants must be collected and disposed of according to local regulations.
