ECOFORM
ECOFORM is a high-performance, bio-based mold release oil designed for fair-faced and architectural concrete applications. It provides excellent wetting, reliable release performance, and natural anti-corrosion protection, ensuring clean, uniform concrete surfaces without staining or residue. Thanks to its optimized viscosity and biodegradable formulation, ECOFORM is suitable for both manual and spray application on steel, plastic, plywood, and timber formwork.
STANDARDS & GUIDELINES
To be used in accordance with the following standards and guidelines:
EN 13670
Specifies requirements for the execution of concrete structures, both in-situ and precast. Covers formwork, reinforcement, tolerances, work quality, and documentation. Does not regulate concrete mix composition (EN 206 does that).
EN 206
Defines concrete properties, mix design, production, placing, curing, and quality control. Together with EN 13670, it forms the framework for concrete structures in Europe.
DBV/VDZ Sichtbeton (2022)
Guidelines for fair-faced (architectural) concrete surfaces. Recommends surface classes, coordination between architect, contractor, and supplier, and quality assurance.
DIN 18217
Historic German standard for fair-faced concrete. Largely superseded by DBV/VDZ guidance but still referenced for historical and comparison purposes.
Biodegradability
This indicates the portion of ECOFORM that naturally decomposes under standard conditions over 28 days, demonstrating its environmental friendliness.
